THE CHRISTIAN AND ISLAM By Kyle Pope
Recent years have seen an increase in the number of people in the west who follow Islam. Christians who are unfamiliar with this faith are ill-prepared to be able teach potential converts. This study introduces the Christian to the major tenets of the Muslim faith and tests claims the Quran makes about Jesus, the Bible, and other events to consider if its claims are valid, credible, and consistent. "BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN": A STUDY OF INSTITUTIONALISM By Kyle Pope
In the middle of the twentieth century churches of Christ in the United States were divided over a number of issues that concerned the relationship the local church should have with human institutions. Does the Bible teach that local churches can support organizations established by man so long as their work and purpose is honorable? How may churches cooperate in the preaching of the gospel and benevolence? Are social functions a work of the Lord's church? This study examines all of these issues to consider what the New Testament teaches about the work and restrictions of the local church. 8 1/2" x 11", 25 pp. © 2004 Kyle Pope.

"OH COME, LET US WORSHIP" By Kyle Pope
The God who created man and gave His Son to redeem him is worthy of all praise, devotion, and worship. Yet, what does this awesome God desire in worship offered to Him? Worship that is born merely in the imagination of man is vain worship, and is not acceptable to God (Matt. 15:8-9). This eight lesson study considers what the New Testament teaches about worship that was practices by faithful men and women in the early church and how it can be practiced today. 8 1/2" x 11", 20 pp. © 2009 Kyle Pope.

THE CONCEPT OF THE DAIMON IN JUSTN'S SECOND APOLOGY By Kyle Pope (Masters Thesis—University of Kansas: May 2000).
The apologetic work of the second century writer Justin articulated an appreciation for classical philosophy not present in the earliest stages of Christianity. In formulating this appreciation Justin brought with him a conception of the entities known to Greeks, Hellenistic Jews, and Christians alike as daimones which reflected a departure from biblical teachings and a blending of non-Christian and Christian concepts. This study includes a summary of Justin’s life and work, an analysis of the etymology of the word daimon, its application in Greek, Jewish, and early Christian thought, along with an analysis of Justin’s other writings on the subject. The complete Greek text of the Second Apology and an original translation with notes is included. 8 1/2" x 11", 104 pp. © 2000 Kyle Pope.

A YOUNG PREACHER'S JOURNAL THROUGH TURKEY & SOUTHERN GREECE By Kyle Pope
In the Spring of 1995, I had the privilege of traveling through Biblical sites in Turkey and Southern Greece with Ferrell Jenkins and my brother Curtis Pope. The first part of the trip followed the steps of John and Paul on an organized group tour. The last part of the trip involved a tour of Eastern Turkey moving from Tarsus to Mount Ararat. During this trip I kept a journal of our activities and the amazing things which we saw on what was in a sense a trip back into the ancient past. 8 1/2" x 11", 76 pp. © 1995 Kyle Pope.
